Slavery in America
Slavery was a rough time for the people who had to go through it. Their lives started to turn upside down when they boarded these ships and headed to land they had never heard of to do work for people they did not even know. Slaves were treated with such disrespect and it made it seem like slaves were not even people. Slaves should have gotten treated with the same respects that whites did. The color of skin should not have an impact on how someone is treated. Slaves had to go along with everything that was done to them even if it could have killed them. They were treated so badly and people considered that a way of life. It was not fair for these innocent men, women, and children to have to come over and do work for people who were perfectly capable of doing it for themselves. The slaves did not deserve this because they had not done anything wrong before coming over to this new land. Slates were considered property and that is not a good way to feel. They were treated so terribly and people did not disagree with what was happening. They just went along with it and caged like it was a normal way of life. Slavery changed the way everything worked in America. People pretty much lost how to do things on their own because they got used to salves doing it for them. That was not right. All people should be required to do things on their own. They should not make innocent people do things for them and then get on to them for doing something wrong. If the situation would have been reversed, I bet the other people would have acted the same exact way.
