Founding Fathers Before Reading

As of right now I view the Founders of America as smart well-rounded men that knew what they were doing. They seem to have started us off pretty well and compared to other countries I would say we are still doing just fine. The Founding Fathers wrote many documents to get us where we are today. The Founding Fathers of America include, George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, James Monroe and Benjamin Franklin. All of the Founders are all just regular people but to us they are like super heroes. George Washington led us to our first victory in the American Revolution. John Adams played a big role in the Boston Massacre, along with many other things that led to gaining our independence. Thomas Jefferson is famous for writing most of the Declaration of Independence. James Madison is known as the "Father of the Constitution". He made a major contribution to approving the constitution. Alexander Hamilton believed that a little bit of debt was a good thing. James Monroe declared that both the North and the South were off limits to the new European colonization using the Monroe Doctrine. Benjamin Franklin was a scientist and discovered electricity!!! He was very well-known throughout America. These seven men all played very important roles in America that still affect us today. Without these men and there decisions, where do you think we  would be today?
